Bahati, Taking Watch

"Bahati" is a well known leopard in the Maasai Mara and has featured in BBC TV
documentaries. I have painted her several times, and she is such a poser! The leopards
and other cats I see in Africa only excite me if the light and surrounding landscape is right.
Scenes like this are always fun; I love dappled light and the spotted coat is a perfect subject
to play with different effects.
