Cooling Off

Of all the different encounters with wildlife in Africa, seeing animals from the rivers is
probably the best viewpoint. I am in a canoe, drifting slowly down stream. The sight of
elephants in the water from a low angle is the best experience. However, there are hippos
everywhere and, whilst there is a definite danger from them, the desire to get good sightings
for my paintings overrides my desire to survive!
