Anshelm Schultzberg was a Swedish painter who specialised in Swedish winter landscapes and was considered the “author” of winter landscape painting. He was a close observer of nature and an advocate of outdoor painting. He also produced figurative paintings and still life, and some of his works also show scenes of social realism.
